Crystalline Waterproofing Chemical is a specialized material used to waterproof concrete structures and prevent water infiltration through the formation of microscopic crystals within the concrete matrix. The offered chemicals work by reacting with moisture and unhydrated cement particles in the concrete. This reaction forms insoluble crystals within the capillary pores and hairline cracks in the concrete, effectively blocking the passage of water. They are generally compatible with other concrete admixtures, such as accelerators, retarders, and air-entraining agents.
